How is it we get information that
we’ve been lied to about every war in the last twenty years (at
least) and YET we believe the narrative fed us by the very same
people who lied to us the last time??? Here, we look at our past,
our ego and our place in the world. Just who the hell do we think
we are? James Baldwin famously said that the psychosis of the
United States is that we can’t reconcile our ideals with our
